We’re a passionate team with specialized subteams
POWERTRAIN
Design and study of an introduction system with the help of computational fluid mechanics programs.
Internal combustion engine modeling to find ideal dimensions for maximum power and performance for the engine.
DRIVETRAIN
Subgroup that has under its responsibility all the mechanisms and components used to transmit power from the engine to the driving axle of a vehicle. For example, this includes the gearbox, differential and driveshafts to name a few.
SUSPENSION
•Maximise traction
•Kinematics and Dynamic analysis
•Steering analysis
•Braking system analysis
•Setup-Tuning-Testing
•CAE simulations
ELECTRONICS
The subgroup electronics are responsible for development of critical electronic systems in the car, such as the engine control unit (ECU), sensors, telemetry system, security systems and Miscellaneous electronics Systems. These systems optimize the performance, ensure
safety, and provide data to Real time in crew of the pit. The Sub-team cooperates closely with others subgroups to ensure seamless integration with rest of the car.
CHASSIS
COMPOSITE MATERIALS
• Design and study the car's chassis in CAD programs.
• Analysis of the chassis in specialized simulation programs (FEA) to verify that it has sufficient stiffness and strength while its mass is kept as small as possible.
• Design and analysis of tubular structures such as the chassis rear spaceframe structure.
• Optimize mass distribution for optimal drivability.
• Design and manufacture of parts from composite materials, such as the monocoque chassis, aerodynamic package, suspension and engine parts.
• Analysis of complex structures made of composite materials in specialized simulation programs (FEA) to optimize stiffness, strength and mass.
• Conduct research and experimental procedures in composite materials and adhesives.
AERODYNAMICS
Design and optimazation of the aerodynamic package (Front-Rear wings, Undertray and bodywork) to maximize on-track performance and cooling.
Flow modeling using CFD with the help of track and windtunnel testing to calibrate the computational tools.
MARKETING
Search for sponsorships (materials, money, soft-ware, etc.) for the successful ART completion of the car. Maintain and communicate with existing sponsors.
They undertake the promotion and advertising of the team through social media and photographs of members and car. Promotion of our sponsors through post and story. Communication with magazines, journalists and media sponsors to promote the team's articles.
Create content to properly visualize the team.
We develop & create every part of the racing car.
ART’s headquarters is the place where the team designs, manufactures and assembles each racing car. It is divided into the offices’ area and the workshop.
The engine is setted up in a specially configured workshop before it is mounted on the car. This way the team collects data, tests and optimizes the engine’s performance.
The Drop Tower is a custom made machinery that is used to collect data and test the Impact Attenuator.
In addition, ART utilizes the University’s facilities to manufacture demanding parts of a racing vehicle.
Racing Cars
In the spirit of academic excellence and passion for motorsport aimed at speed and high performance.
Team Members
Every year all the team members work hard to transform concepts into high-performance racing cars.
